When I first thought of making this project, I wanted to practice sculpting organic shapes and combining them with a geometric form. After experimenting with this project, I gained experience and made a human head that would later be fired and glazed. I was very inspired by a novel. The eyes on each side of the cube reflected the eyes I felt everywhere I went watching me. While making this piece, I was able to put my creative input somewhere and display how I felt.

Exploring and expressing my creativity is my coping mechanism. I can express my thoughts through my art clearly. Creating pieces help me gain knowledge about myself and of what media I am working with. I'm lucky to be in a diverse community where we can all express our creativity together.
