• Artist Statement

  This was my color pencil portrait drawing. Based of a baby photo, I scaled my drawing and proceeded sketch out my portrait. Once the sketch was done, I began the process of layering on the colored pencil in order to create depth and value in the portrait. After about a week and a half of hard work, I had completed my first ever colored pencil value drawing.

• Creative Statement

  Art is the way I express myself. When I have difficulties expressing my feelings through speech, I resort to pencil and paper in order to convey my thoughts and feelings.
