• Artist Statement

  My poetry is often based on my experiences in life and issues that I'm passionate about changing in the world, such as gender inequality and body image issues. Poetry allows me to express my feelings and opinions in a creative way that's unlike anything else.

  I like to write my first drafts on paper with a special blue pen and edit it until the original draft can barely be deciphered. Then I'll transfer it into a Google Doc and leave it for a few weeks before reviewing it and making more edits.
