• Artist Statement

  I created a hyper realistic drawing of an ice skater holding the starting pose for his routine to express the feeling of waiting for the movement to start. I used hyper realism to express this feeling because similarly to a photograph it is static, capturing a single moment in time without artistic interpretation distorting the image

• Creative Statement

  Being creative allows me to express myself through a medium other than words, whether that be music or visual arts.
