  • This piece was created for my IB HL film class. The prompt was "stranger at the door". I wrote, directed, and edited this short film. I wanted to explore character foils in this project to create as much contrast between the two characters. This was the most exciting directing job I've gotten to do so far. I worked with my actors on their performances before and during shooting and make sure they understood their motives so they could deliver their best performances. As a director with a background in acting I used acting rhetoric to explain what I wanted to my actors. I would consider the genre to be a bit postmodern.

  • I've always been a creative person. For seven years I've drawn a daily comic panel before bed. My childhood Shakespeare obsession morphed into a general interest in acting which I pursued at OSA for two years before switching to BHS where I became interested in film. I'm taking two film classes now.
