This is my cover of "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. I have been a big fan of Alicia Keys since I was a young child and had a lot of fun revisiting one of her famous classics. I wanted to cover this song in particular after I originally listened to a lot of covers on YouTube and was amazed by how many different styles and interpretations there were of the song. Although I am still continuing to develop my own style, I enjoyed the process of trying to figure out how I wanted to portray the emotions and overall mood.

Expressing my creativity has allowed me to step out into my own little world. I have learned to be more confident and fearless when it comes to taking my own initiative and trying new things. I am also able to take my own time and feel a sense of freedom that can not be found anywhere else.
