One of my biggest fears has always been losing my eyesight. I'm petrified by the idea of being unable to draw, of being kept from my hobbies. In this digital piece "Grounded", I represented the overwhelming numbness and grief of knowing your passion is just beyond your reach by combining the imagery of a bird with clipped wings and an injured ballerina.

Creativity is what makes life interesting, it's something I try to strive for in every aspect of my life. Specifically in art, I love surprising myself whenever an idea for a drawing comes into my head. I like seeing how it grows, changes, and builds on itself throughout the process.
