Fabled Ruins

Joseph H.

  • I have many wonders to learn, but this artwork represents the culmination of my knowledge of 3D-Illustration that I started cultivating many years ago. I was drawn to the magic of dramatic, often fantasy-like scenes that opened a realm of imagination. In this scene, I wanted to present a mysterious mood by telling the story of an ancient, overgrown temple. The centerpiece is a galea, a common Roman-styled helmet, hinting back at the mythical history of its legendary wearer. Perhaps there is an adventurer just out of frame, discovering this for the first time. There are infinitely many tales that can be told through art!

  • Exploring and expressing my creativity allows me to both enhance the meaning of life and provide a magical escape from it. In particular, 3D Illustration has taught me the value of long hours, dedication, and learning. It allows me to invent a mystical, cinematic world that I alone can dream.
