By implementing complementary colors, I wanted to emphasize the beauty we encounter daily. This oil painting is of a local restaurant I pass by when driving in my day-to-day life. By painting the background with a blue scale, I wanted to make the building pop to highlight the small, special moments we experience that we often forget about.
