  This piece is an expression of my emotions and how they all collide in my everyday life. While making this piece, I chose colors that I felt represented my feelings. The texture and lines also play a role in this art piece because it shows how my emotions overlap and always play a part in life.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity opens up pathways for me to explore memories through a new lens. By creating art, I can dissemble and distort old traumas to give them new meaning. Creativity helps me reclaim my past.
