A Microfiction Collection

Emmerson T.

  • I really enjoy writing microfiction, because the possibility of telling a story in such a short amount of words is fascinating to me. I wrote this collection with inspiration from common experiences that are sadly underrepresented. For many who find themselves in scenarios similar to these, it's easy to feel alone. I hope my collection serves as a reminder that no one is alone. No matter the awful situation, there are others out there who have gone through the same thing, and there are even more people that are willing to listen and support others. I hope this collection represents that truth.

  • Exploring creativity in my life assists me in prioritizing the expression of myself. Writing, as with any art form, is a very personal thing. It allows me to share my true self, and encourages me to spend time reflecting on my life, experiences, and what matters and relates most to me.
