• Artist Statement

  While I was looking at two young owlets exploring their neighborhood, they decided to perch together and stare into my camera. Redwood forests are limited in light, so I had to use a tripod to capture the birds without camera shake.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means being able to express yourself in whichever way you would like and being able to have an outlet for the stresses of daily life. Photography allows someone to be creative as they are able to capture the world as they see it and add their own touch to the world.
