• Artist Statement

  Before starting this project, I was already looking forward to the process. I was thinking of the yellow patterns on the back as a street for some reason and that the belly looks like a party. It was kinda a struggle to get the wings up while the paper-mache was drying. In the end the wings turned out exactly how I wanted them to--for the most part. I like my alebrihe.

  Creativity to me is like a pizza because you can choose anything you want to be on the pizza.
