Blue Bird

Henry G.

  • "Blue Bird" is a compelling coming of age dramatic script that brings childhood anxiety and peer influence to the page. Whether it be in novels or movies, coming of age has always been my favorite genre. Being able to truly relate to a character on a page or screen, even if our lives are different at surface level, has always stood out to me compared to other films and novels. The idea for Blue Bird came to me after watching countless short films, all related to personal and social anxiety and confrontation. The script itself speaks volumes to social struggles that many children, teens, and adults face, but pulls it off in a non cliché way. With a thoughtful cast of characters, and a quick, yet appropriate pace, Blue Bird embraces adolescent challenges, and presents it with drama, humor, and satisfaction.

  • Creativity, in my own words, would mean expressing one's self in any.....well, "creative" way. The idea of creativity is doing things that don't stick to tradition, or traditional customs that one would expect. As a blanket term, creativity is a form of the expression of one's heart and mind.
