• Artist Statement

  “9/1101” is a dramatic tear-jerking poem I wrote last year for a creative writing assignment. I really enjoyed writing it, and it became a mini-research project about the September 11th attacks. When writing this poem, I tried to capture the story of two victims during the attack. I hope the readers can feel a sense of sadness and awareness of what happened on that terrible day after reading my piece.

  Creativity to me is a form of expression that I use to vent my emotions, along with being a useful hobby for schoolwork.
