Where Are You Hiding?

Alexandra B.

  • I often express my thoughts in poems, but I never thought to write about this one. I wrote this simply for a project in my creative writing class. Everything I expressed in this poem is complete honesty, which made it emotionally difficult to write as this is a topic I don’t typically sit with. Though it was hard, the finished product is something I’m proud of, and I believe many other people could relate to this, too.

  • To me, creativity means a way to express yourself. I use writing as a coping mechanism. I use it as a way to express my thoughts and feelings and share them with others who might be able to relate to them and feel heard and/or understood.
