  • Trans people have to be completely flawless in order to get basic medical care and respect. How can we be perfect when so many of us live in pain- not only the pain from our social status, but from our condition itself- horrible pain that never leaves our minds? Not all trans people experience this, of course, but many do, and our experiences shouldn’t be sanitized or sidelined as they so often are. I intend to show my readers the real, ugly truth of gender dysphoria, and all that it poisons, because I am tired of supposed allies trying to paint over our pain with acceptance that brings no real change. Trans people are imperfect and yet we deserve every bit of the respect we demand.

  • I use creativity to express myself, and to share with the world what I would otherwise be afraid to. To me, creativity is the ability to make art out of the mundane, and to create joy from pain.
