  • This is a poem about feeling like you take up too much space, like you’re an ink stain spreading through your family, consuming everything. It’s about the horror within that realization. I wrote this while I was struggling with mental health problems, and noticed my sister retreat into herself due to the fact that I required more attention from my parents. It wasn’t my fault, but I wrote this for her.

  • Creativity means communicating in the purest form possible - it means appealing to shared human experiences, and putting into words something both familiar, yet strange at the same time. It’s putting some on a page that makes you understand yourself a little bit more.
