The Tortoise and the Hare

It is one of my favorite poems I have written, also one of my most creative ones. It references the popular fable, ”The Tortoise and the Hare”, but with a slight twist. It is written from the perspective of the tortoise, and how it feels as it is constantly behind the hare.

Creativity is the ability to express one’s feelings. It is the epitome of art that can be displayed from true, raw emotion. Poetry, is one of the most heart-felt ways to show emotion. The way words are retrieved from the depths of the heart are something only writers can achieve.
