• Artist Statement

  I created a drawing of feet covered in simulated textures in order to stimulate the viewer visually. The attention to the contours of the feet aim to integrate the textures and enable viewers to imagine what the textures would feel like on their own feet, arousing tactile sensations.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is the ability to express one’s ideas, identity, and emotions in obscure and abstract ways. It enables the generation of new ideas and development beyond what is known. Creativity is also applicable far beyond visual arts. Thinking about shifting the narrative in any way is often pushed through creativity.
