• Artist Statement

  Saudade means a nostalgic longing to be near again to something or someone that is distant, or that has been loved and then lost; “the love that remains”. I was scrolling through Pinterest and discovered this word. Then suddenly I find myself only picking the chocolate Reeses bar on Halloween, then suddenly I understood what Saudade meant.
