• Artist Statement

  Through the power of photography, I sought to illustrate Earth’s power, where fire and motion converge. This photograph, created through the combination of light and movement with a slow shutter speed, captures the intensity of the Earth’s ”Ring of Fire” - a network of tectonic plate boundaries encircling the Pacific Ocean. Much like the volcanic and seismic activities in the region, the photograph contains heat and energy that symbolize the cycle of creation and destruction.
