  • This piece explores the paradox of knowing about global crises yet remaining inactive. Inspired by a moment when I saw a man in a bookstore reading a book titled Ukraine, I reflected on the detachment that comes with awareness without taking action. The figure reading about a country enduring the ravages of war symbolizes the passive consumption of knowledge for awareness. The bookshelves in the background contain references to other global challenges. The tension lies in the gap between knowledge and action—knowing about a tragedy doesn’t make us part of the solution unless we take steps to make a difference. This work is a call to move beyond mere awareness and to act with empathy and purpose, recognizing that true power lies in how we work toward change.

  • Creativity is a powerful means of conveying important messages and solving internal struggles, manipulated artfully using colors and perspectives.
