Orange Mushrooms

I am really passionate about climate change, the environment, and animals, so I often try to communicate those types of themes in my writing. I was inspired to write this piece, specifically, after I went to Connecticut to see my grandparents this summer. They live next to the woods, and in those woods there is a trail made of moss that is dotted with little clumps of orange mushrooms. The nature by their house is so beautiful and I really want to protect it, as well as all nature and wildlife, so I decided to write a short story.
