Money Money

I chose to submit Money Money to showcase African Diaspora and Hip Hop fusion. I am greatly inspired by one of my dance teachers that travels the continent of Africa extensively studying and bringing the African Diaspora genre of dance back to her students and fusing it with our local Oakland Hip Hop. I wanted the stage to be full of dancers showcasing with high energy! I organized my choreography and staging in my mind, danced it out on my own and then brought it to the dancers. It was a three month process and my Money Money choreography was chosen to be performed.

Creativity as a dancer and choreographer allows me to imagine anything I want and then channel it through my body.
