Madrigal

Ivonne L.

  • Madrigal gives a sense of peace and serenity in the beginning statement which is later repeated in the end. It is characterized by the repeating phrases in the lower octave of the flute. In the middle, the tempo picks up and the flute changes to the higher octave alluding to the change of mood, until it slows down and goes back to the original idea. At the end the key changes giving a nice end to the piece.

  • To me, creativity is the ability to express yourself, the ability to innovate, and the ability to explore. It allows me to show emotions without words, developing myself as a musician and as a person.
