With this piece, I wanted to capture the pensive expression of someone listening to music. I listen to music a lot, and I started wandering what other people look like when they listen to music. I began with structuring and laying out facial features, and making sure the expression looked just right. Then, I began adding values and layers and finally adding details within the clothing and her hair.

Creativity to me means thinking in unique ways. It does not just mean to do something different than everyone else. It means putting your own individuality into something and showing your identity and who you are as a person.
