lakeshore

Lilian D.

  • This is a piece I wrote to get back into composition after a long period of mostly songwriting and producing. I started with the short arpeggio heard throughout the song. It made me think of watching shooting stars above a lake. The stars reflect on the lake’s surface, and you watch them glitter as you reminisce on your times with a person you miss. I wrote this with the OST of Undertale in mind, which is a soundtrack I really love. I think the nostalgia I have for it came through to my song because of the scene I was imagining, although I hadn’t realized that until now.

  • It’s hard to describe what creativity is to me. It’s within me, and it’s within everybody. I have to let it out, and that creates art.
