This is a photo I took of my best friend recently, on my film camera. One thing I really like to explore in my photography is the breaking of the status quo. I tend to take photos in public places such as grocery stores, usually wearing ridiculous outfits. Through this, I try to express the feeling that so many people have of not quite belonging. This photo was taken in a camping equipment store, when my friends and I were wearing absurd costumes.

For me, creativity really just means getting to express yourself. My photography is a way for me to capture moments in time and ideas that feel particularly powerful to me.
