The center portrait is a formal graduation photo, surrounded by childhood photos and crayon drawings. This piece is a homage to how me and my brother’s relationship has developed over the years, from two kids playing at the beach to a sister cheering her brother on as he enters adulthood. Every photo and drawing depicts me and my ”gege” together, from big to small. The crayon drawings to oil paintings show growing up through the lens of my art. It is meant to capture the joy of growing up with a sibling, yet also the bittersweet feeling of how time changes everything.

For me, creativity is a way to express how I see the world and share my experiences with others. In a world where people are divided, using art and creativity can help us better understand each other. I believe creativity is a language that transcends all barriers.
