• Artist Statement

  Through this piece I created, I wanted to express the feeling of vulnerability. To me, the ocean represents an overwhelmingly vast space that feels like a similar sensation to drowning in your own sadness and loneliness. The endless burden of isolation feels suffocating, as if being lost and struggling to escape.

  What creativity means to me is being able to create your own original ideas, and to express yourself through writing, art, and anything else.
