  • I’ve always written poetry when I feel deep emotion. Except I didn’t truly think it was poetry. I just thought it was a silly diary entry to make me feel a little better. This year in school I took a spoken word poetry class, and I learned that this is poetry and poetry is so much. I enjoyed writing these pieces and speaking them aloud, and I encourage everyone to try and write their own artwork, there’s no right or wrong writing. This is probably the most courageous thing I’ve done with such personal writing, and I’m proud to be proud of it.

  • To me, creativity means exploring yourself vulnerably with no filter, and not toning it down. It’s innovation and originality in uncharted areas and exciting new ideas. It is the ability to see possibilities and opportunities instead of being blocked by a limit.
