Black Camo represents the casualties of war. It depicts a fallen no name statue on a dark brick road, highlighting the obscurity of death. The fragmented textures and patterns reflect the erasing of identity, turning them into broken fading reflections of themselves. Even with the fractured brick road, it’s uneven and messy demonstrating the obscure paths taken to the deaths. This piece confronts the war head on—in its purest form. It reflects upon the fragility of life to leave one’s self behind to a forgotten story.

Creativity to me is a form of storytelling that becomes a meditation of oneself. It is the very spark and essence of our minds and bodies that reflects our experiences and lives.
