This artwork is of my older brother when we were returning from a New Year’s hike with my dad. We noticed that the light of the sun being reflected off of the clouds resembled fire, so we decided to take pictures of each other pretending to exhale it. It was a short and joyful moment at the beginning of the year, and I wanted to really make the drawing feel like it was my brother living in that very moment.

Creativity is what gives me ideas, and those ideas give me motivation to draw and make art. Its an outlet for all of those ideas spinning in my head, as well as an activity I really enjoy. Creativity makes me want to create, learn, and appreciate the world around me.
