• Artist Statement

  This piece is about moving on from past friendships and the feelings of loss that come with it. It is a self-portrait which I made by closely studying a reference and applying my own stylistic choices and colors.

• Creative Statement

  Drawing and creating art is my whole world. I have always enjoyed creativity in many forms, whether that be through sewing, storytelling, or visual arts. Exploring my feelings in creative ways helps me to understand them and myself better.
