I combined watercolor with watercolor pencils to create contrast highlighting the healthy flower against the withering Earth, relating to my theme of environmental health. The seeds flying from the Earth represent new possibilities and regrowth, spiraling out towards the viewer, and the shooting star in the background signifies a wish being made through this piece of saving the environment.
