To start the title was picked because it was my best friends favorite number And my piece is about me and my best friend Alexandrea. This year was the hardest year for both of us and felt like a stab in the chest. This year she lost her mom she was my mom too,I practically lived with them.I stayed with her for weeks at a time,went on trips with her family, spent holidays with them and shared connections with her.She felt like an adult version of me I looked up to her,I still do.During the passing process me and Alexandrea got closer then ever since she felt all she had was me. I then lost my best friend due to her moving to LA to live with her aunt.I wanted to show my best friend that even tho we aren’t together everyday or live together anymore that im still here.

Creativity means to me means freedom, because dance is my way of freedom. I struggle with expressing my feelings and dance is the best way I can show how I feel, this might be cheesy since it’s what everyone says but that just goes to show that dance is creativity.
