Wild

When I start writing a story, it’s not because I have a fully formed plan of what I want to write. I usually sit down with a basic starting point in mind, and I take it from there. All I knew when I started this particular story was that I wanted a stray cat to find a home.

Fires

This was one of my first poems. At the time it was written, I had just recovered from a serious medical emergency which led to a whole mental and physical reset. 3 Poems

I use my poetry to try to make sense of my experiences within the world as a whole and my immediate surroundings. I write my poems out my hand in a notebook, often when I'm in an emotional state, and then go back to try to make sense of things from a calmer perspective.

No Longer Summer

This piece was written about living in my own head, during a time that I was happy. Throughout the writing I hope to display a feeling of nostalgia and sorrow. Hoping to bring the reader back to a similar place in time from their own lives.
