• Artist Statement

  I took this photo in the spur of the moment, capturing the special relationship between my sister and our next doors neighbors cat. The cat had snuck into our house and enjoys our company and our leftovers from dinner. I saw the shadows and immediately thought of the assignment from my photography class. My teacher had made us keep our eyes out for shadows, textures and reflections and my eyes had been trained to spot these in my everyday life.

  Creativity to me is being able to come up with ideas with the use of your imagination. These ideas can work in favor or artistic talents and new creations.
