• Artist Statement

  This work is inspired by the city of San Francisco. Generally, San Francisco doesn't get a good reputation, but I wanted to help improve the bad reputation. To share the multifaceted character of the city, I chose to depict different locations and scenes, both famous and more spontaneous, such as Oracle Park, Chinatown's Gates, street performers, and a view from a local hiking trail of the Golden Gate Bridge.
