I have always been fascinated by the intelligence of ravens and their empathetic interactions with humans. Many see them as just another bird, though I see them as something more, a bringer of peace. They are wise, caring creatures despite their flock title: Unkindness. For my first time using linocut material I was inspired to create a piece based on my love of ravens.

Creativity to me means seeing mistakes as opportunities rather than failures. It represents the endless ideas that are pieced together from recollections and inspirations from not only the past, though also the present. Creativity is the definition of "play," it means to experiment and not worry about the outcome.
