• Artist Statement

  My piece is about connections between different people of different backgrounds. I believe that we all have more in common than differences. I believe my work explores emotions that are often suppressed and I believe that exploring these emotions can be a fertile source of creativity and strength. It is important to me that humanity is showcased in my artistic porcess.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is a way to express myself when words are not enough. I feel that through dance I can speak with eloquence and clarity and not have to constantly navigate my dyslexia. Creativity is my home and one place I know will be the truest version of myself.
