On Cloud Nine

I wanted to capture the peace and happiness found in the presence of nature, or the state of being on cloud nine. I used pastel colors to make the landscape more magical and also took "on cloud nine" literally by adding a figure on one of the nine clouds. I took an impressionist approach because my artwork is about capturing feelings, not the environment.
