• Artist Statement

  This piece was inspired by uplifting energy, I wanted to create a big difference in contrast between the colors I chose. This is why the colors blue and orange are so prominent in my work. I sketched on a canvas with pencil then laid acrylic over it, I used acrylic specifically because it is one of my favorite mediums to work with. My goal was to create an uplifting bubbly piece with contrast between the goldfish and the cat.

  Creativity is a way that I can express my feelings, it helps me connect with my emotions to understand myself better as a person. Creativity inspires me everyday to make more of an effort to work the hardest I possibly can.
