New Year, New Me

Kathryn W.

  • Ever since fifth grade, I've loved to write. Such an investment is reminiscent of reading but with more liberty. For years, I've loved to explore the fantastical and ethereal. This is a preview of a book I plan to flesh out and publish. The New Year is almost upon us, and the time for resolutions is near. But how much do we really consider our wishes? Is what we desire truly good for us, or is it the trap that seals our doom? Mary has always wanted to be someone else, and a mysterious girl arrives with a promise to help. Still, not everything is as it seems, and every dream comes with a price.

  • Creativity is the language of the human spirit. It is a way for people to express themselves and explore who they are. It is drawn from inspiration, a need to share or escape. It strengthens the mind and the soul and pushes the world forward.
