Lasya Tandav is a piece that explores the differences between a bold masculine energy (Tandav) and a soft feminine energy (Lasya). The piece finds a balance between power and grace to add subtle nuances and allow the dancer to explore both worlds. In Odissi, these differences are shown through body language, eye movements, and subtle differences in expressions. Through this contrast, the concept that the dance aims is how the masculine energy and feminine energy exist to complete each other and that neither one is completely superior over the other.

Creativity is a lens used to view the world. My creativity stems from experiences and ideals that allow me to envision and empathize with the characters. Envisioning a character's personality involves connecting with their story and using my creativity to display their emotions as well my opinion on the story.
