• Artist Statement

  Rocks, leaves, pond, dirt, splashes, and a circle of wandering fish. I painted a pond with dazzling orange koi fish I saw in a stroke-like expression with my brush. The texture and the flow of the brushstrokes help convey the setting and feeling of the artwork. I made sure the colors and contrast stand out and appear vibrant and colorful.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me means to simply express something or problem solve in your own, personal way that is unique to you by you. Usually, the result appears interesting or conveys a certain idea you care for. However, the process of your own unique problem solving is what makes creativity special.
