Delta Sleep has been one of my favorite bands and a huge inspiration for my drumming the last 1-2 years. I think these two songs (Lake Sprinkle Sprankle and After Dark) are exceptionally challenging with frequent time signature changes, intricate hi-hat work with interesting choices for grooves. And, of course, lots of big drum fills/solo opportunities. I had the pleasure of seeing them play live last year in San Francisco with my Dad. I have been picking songs to cover over the years - a lot of songs by Rush (Neil Peart was a big influence on me when I started) and I did “Carivan” from Whiplash but this is the most challenging one yet. I produced the video and recorded and mixed the drums, but I had some help with the camera work this time. Thank you for the opportunity to show you my work.

Drumming has been a passion of mine since I was about 6. I have always been creating through the drums and through music! My favorite thing is finding a new challenging song to play on drums that I can incorporate into pieces of my own. I am always learning.
