I wrote this song about a relationship of mine that recently ended. This song is about how spontaneous some relationships can be, and how, in our generation, everyone is so picky about who they make a romantic relationship with. Some of these spontaneous relationships can be made without a basis of good communication, which also plays a big part in the song. I wrote it in the span of about two days of work in a flash of inspiration. This is how most of my songs come to be. The chord progression initially comes from playing around with different chord shapes for hours until I find something unique that I like. Then I record the progression I come up with and use it later when I have inspiration for what the song should be about. Once the lyrics start coming to me, I play what I came up with earlier on my guitar and improvise a melody while I sing the lyrics.
