The name of my piece is called "Atrapada", which is "trapped" in english; when I made this piece I knew I wanted I wanted to reference alcholosim. Which is my dancers are holding wine bottles as props. My family on both sides come from a line of alcoholics, and it was something that I didn't want to hide from. Instead I wanted to find a way to embrace, in a manner which I could touch others. Though what I do wish i wouldve done different is, maybe chosen different lighting, I feel as though to the naked eye it might be seen as "romantasizing" alcoholism, which is not at all the case. I think I wouldve played with different movements that symbolize, being unable to move from something holding them back. Or maybe i would've chosen different lighting. But all in all I'm super proud with how my piece turned out, and im grateful for what my dancers were able to do for me.

Creativity, is exaplaing your thoughts in a differently than most would. Creatvity, is pushing your limits, and thinking outside the box. Creativity, is about finding how you can interept different scenarios.
